Where do you work? Do you Travel? My studio is located at: Uncovered Beauty - 111 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046 I service clients on-site all throughout PA, NJ, and DE. I will travel anywhere if mileage and travel expenses (and accommodations, if necessary) are covered – that even includes destinations abroad! I only travel for parties of 4 or more, but you are welcome to have makeup done in the studio if you have a smaller party. What are your travel fees? First 20 miles included Then, $0.85/mile per artist, for all mileage incurred over 20 miles from: 111 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046 (plus tolls & parking fees) *Travel in excess of 1.5+hrs may also require overnight accomodations *Additional fees apply when contracting Makeup by Kerstin LLC for/on holidays *For all weddings deemed as destination (taking place beyond 150 miles from Vendor's studio), additional fees are applicable, such as but not limited to; round trip airfare, a hotel/similar stay in same location of bride/services for 2-3 nights pending complexity, day rate(s) for days traveled, meals, and car rentals fees. --All travel can be arranged by clients per specifications of Vendor or arranged by Vendor with agreement of payment invoiced. Do I need a trial? I highly suggest one! Your trial is part conversation, part glam session. First, I'll learn about your style and overall vision for your wedding day. It's a chance for us to get to know one another and for you to share any inspo photos. Then I'll do your makeup, and take detailed notes so that we can replicate the look on your wedding day. We will finish with some photos to capture your finished look. All trials take place in my studio. As trials are more in-depth than just a makeup application, I suggest setting aside about 1.5-2 hours of time. I recommend scheduling your trial 3-4 months before your wedding day. This will help you have a clearer picture of how your makeup will fit in with your overall wedding vision. How long does makeup take? I allot just under 60 minutes for all of my clients. However, I usually factor in additional time for the bride. For weddings or larger parties, an 8am or earlier start time is completely normal. Often, bridal suites do not allot enough time, so please keep this in mind as services tend to take between 5-6 hours. A first look, will also require an earlier start time. Ultimately, the schedule is based on the amount of people requiring services and your photographer's arrival time. If deemed necessary, I will bring along an additional artist to assist. Will you come to my venue for touch ups? On wedding mornings, I will be with you at whatever location you're getting ready at. I will remain on sight for an additional 20 minutes for quick touch ups. If you would like to hire me beyond that time or for an additional location, a transport fee of $20 and an hourly fee of $100 will apply. Ultimately, your makeup is meant to last and you'll be surprised by how little touching up is needed. How can I prepare for makeup? Most importantly, please arrive with a clean and moisturized face! This means no leftover mascara. Avoid facial waxing on the day of your makeup application and if possible exfoliate one or two times during the week leading up to your event. Take benadryl if you have sensitive eyes and avoid consuming large amounts of caffeine before your appointment. If your budget allows it, I highly suggest seeing an esthetician regularly for a skincare routine and targeted treatments. Above all, investing in high quality skincare and drinking water to stay hydrated is your best bet! Do you offer discounts if I don’t want a lot of makeup? Unfortunately, beyond a military/first responder discount my pricing isn’t negotiable. When working on location my goal is to save you time and stress by packing up my whole kit and bringing the salon to you. If it helps, picture that you’re paying for the convenience, skillset, and luxury of having your makeup done on location, more so than the actual cosmetic products. For a major milestone, like a wedding, the average person may be too nervous or on too tight of a schedule to effectively apply their own makeup. I alleviate that burden by coming to you, being punctual, and ensuring you are ready on time. The cost also takes into account behind the scene prep work that is required of me to set the tone for your day. Can you cover tattoos, hyperpigmentation, acne, birthmarks, etc.? Yes, absolutely. I use high quality products with a wide range of coverage and concealing capabilities. Tattoo coverage is an additional fee and will be quoted based on size. Pricing starts at $50 for tattoo coverups and must be arranged in advance. What happens if you have to cancel? If you hire me, you can sleep well knowing that your wedding will be covered. I’ve never once canceled on a bride! In the unlikely event that I'm unable to provide services, I have a network of artists I can reach out to and that offer the same caliber of work. I will work quickly and diligently to find you a replacement artist.

"Kerstin, I have never felt so beautiful & PERFECT. It was so humid and I was sweating bullets for the first look photos, but you did such a professional job that you couldn't even tell I was sweaty in the photos!!! My makeup lasted through humidity, tears before the ceremony, and up through the after party. I wouldn't go to anyone else for my makeup needs, thank you so much!!!
